This mobile app provides an offline guide to the Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve (WGP). The WGP is a 400+ acre preserve on Florida’s Nature Coast. The app was created for the Friends of the WGP using Progressive Web App technologies.

A balanced chemical equation has the same numbers of atoms of each element for both the reactants and products. Given an unbalanced equation this iOS app will calculate the stoichiometric coefficients needed to balance the equation. This app was created using React Native.
Chemistry – Molar Mass
The molar mass of a substance is calculated by adding up the individual molar masses of its constituent elements. Given a chemical formula this iOS app will calculate molar mass and subtotal masses for the substance. This app was created using React Native.
Chemistry – Periodic Table
The periodic table is an iconic summation of the physical and chemical properties of the elements. It was formulated before the structures of atoms were known, simply by noting patterns in experimental data. We now know chemical properties are determined largely by an element’s electron configuration. The periodic table can be a valuable tool in understanding chemistry. With this in mind this app has been designed as a learning aid to help the beginning chemistry student gain intuition and insight. This app was created using Electron.
